  隨著Web 2.0概念與技術的發展，公共圖書館藉由Web 2.0技術，設計以使用者為中心、鼓勵使用者參與之平臺與服務，增進館員與使用者、使用者彼此之間的交流，藉以滿足使用者資訊需求，提升服務品質。本期探討公共圖書館公用電腦多語系介面之裝設、新加坡公共圖書館應用Web 2.0之服務現況、公共圖書館網路閱讀社群之經營，以及美國公共圖書館應用Web 2.0之現況。
  With the development of Web 2.0, public libraries provide user-centered services by web 2.0 tools, to enhance interaction between librarians and users, and between users and user, to meet user’s information needs, and to enhance service quality. This issue explores the multi-language interface of public computers in public libraries, the application of web 2.0 in Public Libraries Singapore, the development of book-focused online communities in public libraries, and the application of Web 2.0 in American public libraries.
