館員、家長瞭解嬰幼兒繪本的選擇與應用、公共圖書推動學齡前閱讀服務,均有助於為孩子挑選適齡讀物、提升幼兒閱讀興趣及建立家庭閱讀風氣。本期探討學齡前幼兒繪本之選擇與應用、臺灣「Bookstart 閱讀起步走」之發展、模式及特色,以及公共圖書館學前閱讀服務。
Librarians and parents knowing how to choose and apply picture books and public libraries holding reading programs for preschool children are helpful to select appropriate readings, to promote children’s reading interest and to build up family reading climate. This issue explores the selecting and the application of picture books for preschool children; and the chronicle, model and characteristics of the “Bookstart” in Taiwan; and reading services for young children in public libraries.
